Resold accounts are now disclosed before you buy
Accounts that changed hands on ooeex before are no longer invisible. Every listing now shows how much of its stock was sold here previously, and after purchase you see exactly which of your accounts those are.
Some accounts on ooeex have been sold here before. A seller buys stock, resells it later, and the account reaches a second owner. That is ordinary trade, and we are not going to stop it — but the person paying for it deserves to know.
From today, we tell you.
Before you buy
On every product card, next to the stock count, you will see the share of that listing's accounts that were sold on ooeex previously — for example 340 in stock · 12% resold. No note means none of them were.
On the listing page, above the price, the same figure is written out in full: how many of the accounts available in that listing have changed hands here before.
On the seller's page, under Trust, you will find the figure across everything that seller currently has live. A seller whose stock is entirely first-hand is marked as such.
After you buy
A percentage tells you about a listing. After purchase we tell you about your accounts specifically — each one that was sold on ooeex before is marked in your order, individually. You will know exactly which of the accounts you received had a previous owner and which did not.
Why we allow resale at all
A resold account is not automatically a bad account. Sellers buy stock from one another, and plenty of resold accounts work exactly as described. Banning the practice outright would remove legitimate inventory and push the rest of it somewhere neither you nor we can see.
Disclosure is the better answer. You get the information and decide for yourself, before you pay.
What is still not allowed
One account, one live listing. If an account is already listed by another seller, or is mid-checkout for another buyer, it cannot be listed again at the same time. Two people cannot own the same account, and uploads that would create that situation are rejected.
Buyer protection is unchanged. If an account does not work as described, open a dispute.
For sellers
Reselling stock you acquired is allowed, as it always has been. What is new is that your listings now carry this figure next to your stock count, and buyers see it before they buy.
If you source first-hand accounts, that now shows on your seller page as a point in your favour.
